Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer (ICT)
An Intra Company Transfer is a situation where an individual who currently works for an overseas branch, parent or subsidiary of a multinational organisation is to be sent to work in the UK organisation (and will be "sponsored" by that organisation).
Switching from Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer (ICT) to Tier 1 General Highly Skilled Visa is allowed. This gives an opportunity for many young professionals come from abroad with right qualification a chance to settle in the UK by moving into Tier 1 General visa.
